Construction Labourer – Paid Travel

*Location: Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.*

*What we do: *We specialize in gypsum floor underlayments, vehicular and pedestrian traffic coatings, epoxy flooring, sheet and fluid-applied waterproofing membranes, hydro demolition, concrete restoration, parkade restoration, and lightweight insulating concrete.

*What we’re looking for: *We are currently looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

*Requirements:*

* Applicants must have a means of transportation to our office in Abbotsford by _6:00 a.m_. (bike, cab, walk, or drive) from Monday to Friday
* Experience with waterproofing, floor levelling, concrete finishing, and epoxy / urethane application
* Applicants must be reliable and hard-working
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for extended periods, lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment)
* Strong preference for applicants holding a valid driver’s license

*Experience with the following is considered an asset:*

* Concrete toppings
* Use of hand tools
* Manual labour
* Heavy lifting
* Bobcat operating
* Traffic coatings
* Waterproofing membranes
* Epoxy flooring
* Cementitious polyurethane
* Floor grinding
* Floor patching
* Experience applying, mixing, and finishing epoxies, urethanes, epoxy mortars, rapid set mortars, waterproof membranes, etc., including torch or hot applied membranes

*Responsibilities*:

* Applying, mixing, and finishing epoxies, urethanes, epoxy mortars, rapid set mortars, waterproof membranes etc. including torch or hot applied membranes
* Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (including steel-toe boots)
* Lift, carry, and apply materials and equipment
* Safely operate hand and power tools
* Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
* Preparation of concrete with grinders and shot blaster
* Other duties as assigned
