Concrete Repair Technician

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Gator Construction is your industry leader in concrete restoration and ultra-high performance commercial and industrial concrete coatings. We are a privately owned company based out of Calgary Alberta with locations in Red Deer, Edmonton and Winnipeg.
We’re currently looking for a concrete repair technician with experience in:
– Traffic Deck Coatings
– Concrete repair
– Working at heights (Swing Stage, Scaffold)
– Concrete demolition
– Concrete placement and finishing
– Formwork / carpentry
– Rebar replacement
– Concrete coating
– Traffic Membranes
– Waterproofing (Crystaline grout waterproofing, carbon fibre wraps and crack locking, epoxy and polyurethane injections, below grade waterproofing)
– Sandblasting
Requirements:
– Understanding of construction equipment, tools and materials
– 1-5+ years of prior construction experience
– Current Swing Stage Certification Required
– Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, ability to lift over 50 lbs continuously
– Working with others, problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing
– Comfortable working at heights (man lifts or scaffold systems, Swing Stage)
– Must have a driver’s licence and reliable transportation
– ICRI Concrete Repair Technician Course an asset
– Steel-toed safety boots and General standard PPE Required
– Concrete Repair: 2 years (required)
– Concrete Coatings: 2 years (required)
– Working at Heights Certificate (required)
– Swing Stage Certificate (required)
