MX Epoxy is a concrete coatings company serving the entire Ottawa-Gatineau area. It was founded by two partners who love epoxy as much as they love building a business. They’re passionate about their craft, they work hard, and they treat people well.
Their motto says it plainly: no shortcuts, no compromises, just work done right the first time.

One Team, Both Sides of the River
The Ottawa River splits the capital region into two provinces, and that matters more than most homeowners realize. Any contractor doing construction work in Quebec needs a licence from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, better known as the RBQ. If you live on the Quebec side, it’s one of the first things worth checking when you hire anyone.
MX Epoxy holds an RBQ licence and runs a fully bilingual team. That means a homeowner in Aylmer and a business owner in Orleans get the same crew, the same professional quality, and the same service in the language they’re most comfortable with.
Expert Finishes, Built to Last
MX Epoxy installs a variety of concrete coatings including epoxy, polyaspartic, and polyurethane floor coatings:
- Flake systems that are durable, textured, and slip-resistant
- Metallic epoxy that is bold, glossy, and reflective
- Solid color coatings that are clean, modern, and seamless
Every floor is built to handle daily wear, clean up easily, and cut down on maintenance. As MX Epoxy puts it, their coatings don’t just cover a surface. They change what that surface can do.
In residential projects, MX Epoxy coats garage floors, basements, stairs, interior rooms, outdoor entryways, patios, and porches. They also take on larger commercial spaces where floors need to stand up to heavy traffic.
More Than a Coating
A great floor starts with what’s underneath it. MX Epoxy handles the full job, from surface preparation to the final coat. They also offer concrete grinding and sealing for a clean, levelled finish and concrete polishing for a natural, glossy look that shows off the stone in the slab.
For homeowners finishing off a garage, they also install garage organization systems, so your walls look as good as the floor.
