*Industrial Flooring Installer / Epoxy Technician*

Magma Coatings is a specialized industrial flooring contractor based in the North Okanagan, focused on resinous coatings like epoxy, polyaspartic, rubbers coatings, and urethane concrete systems for food plants and industrial settings. With over 20 years in the industry, we combine practical field experience with a strong focus on quality, safety, and keeping projects on schedule.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on installer to join our team and grow with the business. You’ll work on a variety of commercial, residential, and industrial projects, helping transform worn slabs into durable, high-performance floors.

Assist with concrete surface prep: grinding, shot blasting, scraping, patching, and crack repair. Mix and install epoxy, urethane, and other resinous flooring systems according to manufacturer specs. Help with new concrete work: place and finish, cutting, sealing and densifying.

Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and safe operation of grinders, vacuums, and hand tools.

Travel to job sites as needed; some early mornings, long days, and occasional overnights/out-of-town work.

*What We’re Looking For*

Experience in construction, concrete, flooring, painting, or coatings is an asset, but we will train the right person with strong work ethic. Comfortable with physically demanding work: lifting, kneeling, and standing for long periods. Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation required. Able to work as part of a small, focused crew and take direction, but also think ahead and solve problems on site. Safety-minded, punctual, and respectful on customer sites.

*Nice-to-Have Skills*

Experience with floor grinders, polishers, and dust-control vacuums. Experience with epoxy, urethane, MMA, or other resinous floor systems. Basic concrete repair (patching, coves, slope, joint filling).

_*Schedule & Details*_

Full-time, and Part-time (typical 25–50 hours per week, with some overtime during busy stretches). Mostly commercial and industrial projects in the Okanagan and surrounding regions, with some travel. Work is primarily on-site, not remote.
