If you do not agree, do not use Coated.ca.
1. About Coated
Coated.ca is a Canadian directory and platform focused on the coatings industry. We provide installer listings, business profiles, and related tools intended to connect installers with potential customers and industry opportunities.
Coated does not perform installation services and is not a party to any agreement between installers and customers.
2. Eligibility
Coated.ca is intended for adults only.
By using the site, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have the authority to act on behalf of the business you represent
3. Accounts
Installer accounts may be created to claim and manage business listings.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate and up to date information
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Listings and Content
By submitting content to Coated.ca, including business information, photos, videos, logos, and descriptions, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission to use it
- The content is accurate and lawful
- The content does not infringe on third party rights
You grant Coated a non exclusive, royalty free license to display, reproduce, and promote your content in connection with the platform.
We reserve the right to edit, remove, or reject listings or content at our discretion.
5. Paid Listings and Payments
Certain features require payment, including verified or featured listings.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store payment card information.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Unless explicitly stated in writing:
- Payments are non refundable
- Listings renew based on the selected billing period
- You may cancel future renewals through your account
6. No Guarantee of Results
Coated does not guarantee:
- Leads
- Sales
- Customer inquiries
- Rankings or visibility outcomes
Listings provide exposure and visibility only. Business results depend on many factors outside our control.
7. Third Party Services and Links
Coated.ca may contain links to third party websites or services.
We are not responsible for:
- Third party content
- Transactions conducted outside Coated
- Disputes between installers and customers
Any agreement between an installer and a customer is solely between those parties.
8. Platform Availability
We aim to keep Coated.ca available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coated shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
- Use of the website
- Listings or content
- Interactions between users
Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Coated in the twelve months prior to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coated from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your content or listings
- Your business activities
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Coated.ca if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the platform in a manner that harms Coated or other users
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the province in which Coated operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Coated.ca after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
