General Laborer – Concrete Restoration and Waterproofing

Brahm-Crete Systems is seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete restoration, including concrete demolition, surface preparation, repair, and finishing, as well as the application of waterproofing coatings.

Responsibilities:

– Preparing concrete surfaces for restoration, including cleaning, grinding, jackhammering, and removal of deteriorated material

– Assisting with the application of concrete repair materials, including patching compounds

– Mixing and applying waterproofing coatings, such as urethanes and epoxies

– Moving, lifting, and carrying materials and equipment

– Operating hand and power tools, including concrete grinders, mixers, and jackhammers

– Maintaining a clean and organized work site

– Following all safety procedures and regulations

– Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials

Requirements:

– Previous experience as a General Laborer in the construction industry is required

– Knowledge of concrete repair materials and application techniques

– Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

– Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions

– Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license required

– Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour. Benefits include casual dress, company events, dental care, extended health care, and vision care.
