Building Restoration Foreman

Sibwest Building Restoration is a division of the Sibwest Group of Companies, specializing in high-quality structural and architectural restoration projects across the GTA. We are seeking a Building Restoration Foreman to lead and supervise on-site crews. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in concrete, brickwork, waterproofing, and general restoration methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily on-site restoration activities.
• Lead a crew in concrete repair, balcony restoration, masonry, caulking, waterproofing, and coatings.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents.
• Monitor job progress and communicate updates to the Project Manager/Superintendent.
• Ensure work complies with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections for quality control and adherence to timelines.
• Assist with material take-offs, deliveries, and inventory management on site.
• Train and mentor crew members.
• Identify and report issues or delays that may affect schedule or budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on building restoration experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead hand role.
• Strong knowledge of concrete patching, waterproofing, brick and stone repair, epoxy injection, and protective coatings.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Solid understanding of construction safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation across the GTA.
• Working at Heights, WHMIS, and other safety certifications required (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
