Experienced Concrete Flooring Technician – Prep, SLU, Epoxy, Polishing

We are seeking a highly skilled and Experienced Concrete Flooring Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive, hands-on experience across specialized concrete flooring, from heavy surface preparation to high-end finishes. This is not an entry-level position. Prior professional experience with concrete grinding, self-leveling underlayments, and industrial coatings is required.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation: concrete grinding, shot-blasting, and surface prep using walk-behind grinders, hand grinders, and industrial dust containment systems.
• Slab remediation: route and repair structural cracks, fill joints, and treat spalled concrete.
• Underlayments: mix, pour, and finish self-leveling underlayments and patch compounds.
• Coating application: mix and apply epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane cement, and other industrial protective coatings, including flake and broadcast systems.
• Concrete polishing: multi-step polishing, including densifiers, sealers, and burnishing.
• Maintain, clean, and safely operate specialized flooring equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in epoxy flooring, industrial coatings, and concrete polishing.
• Proven expertise with walk-behind floor grinders, industrial vacuums, and planetary polishing equipment.
• Experience installing self-leveling underlayments.
• Strong understanding of mixing ratios, pot-life, and curing times for multi-part resin systems.
• Ability to read project layouts, follow safety protocols, and handle the physical demands of the job.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
