Les idées d’Époxy: Flake Floor Training (Formation Plancher de Flakes) – Gatineau, QC – Oct 26, 2026

Les idées d’Époxy is bringing its hands-on flake floor training to its Gatineau branch on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 6 pm to 10 pm. This is the only Gatineau session currently on the Les idées d’Époxy fall calendar, which makes it a good fit for contractors and DIYers in the Outaouais and the Ottawa area who want to learn decorative flake systems without driving to Montréal or Québec City.

The evening is built around doing, not watching. Each group installs a real floor of at least 10′ x 10′ with an experienced trainer, so you see every step of a flake system from start to finish and get your own hands on the tools.

What the training covers:

• Surface preparation basics and how to judge a concrete slab before coating
• Mixing and applying the base coat
• Broadcasting decorative vinyl flakes for full or partial coverage
• Scraping, cleanup and applying the clear topcoat
• Common mistakes, product selection and how to quote small jobs

Who it is for: people starting an epoxy floor business, renovation contractors adding garage and basement floors to their services, companies training a new employee, and homeowners who want to do their own floor. No prior experience is needed. The course is taught in French.
