Les idées d’Époxy is running a hands-on Metallic Epoxy Floor Training (Formation Plancher Métallique) at its St-Hyacinthe store on November 11, 2026. Metallic epoxy is one of the most requested high-end finishes for basements, showrooms, garages and commercial interiors, and this workshop shows you how to create those marble-like, three-dimensional effects yourself.

The training is a good fit for anyone starting an epoxy installation business, contractors training a new employee, or homeowners who want to do their own metallic floor with confidence. Les idées d’Époxy has trained dozens of installers across Quebec and keeps each class small for real hands-on time.

In this session you will work with an experienced trainer to complete a metallic floor of at least 10′ x 10′. Topics include:
– Concrete surface preparation and priming
– Selecting metallic pigments and planning a color design
– Mixing epoxy correctly and managing working time
– Pouring, spreading and manipulating metallic epoxy to create movement and depth
– Tools and techniques for veining, cells and swirl effects
– Topcoat protection and how to avoid common defects
