Lead Hand / Hands on Foreman – Concrete Repair and Coatings

GCD Construction Ltd is a Calgary based company with projects in both Alberta and B.C. We specialize in providing premium services with a skilled and professional team, and we’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Lead Hand / Foreman to join our team. Concrete repair and coating positions are available, training will be provided, with opportunities to advance within the company.

Duties:

– Full-time, year-round role, with possible out-of-town work

– Concrete repair and coatings, with a high focus on shotblasting, grinding, and patching

– Use of professional-grade tools and equipment (floor grinders, vacuums, etc.)

– Keeping the jobsite clean and professional

– Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing strenuous outdoor work throughout an 8-10 hour shift

Qualifications:

– Attention to detail and problem solving

– Ability to work independently or in a team setting

– Comfortable around power tools and concrete grinders

– Safety tickets and certifications preferred but not required (First Aid, Swing Stage, Fall Protection, CSTS-2020, WHMIS)

– Valid Class 5 Driver’s license

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour. Flexible schedule.
